The Cast & More

Thank you everyone for coming out to Audition. As you can see the males were a bit underrepresented in the minor roles and I sincerely hope man guys show up for the ensemble.

The remaining male roles have minimal or no lines and only sing and dance in groups. Let's go encourage, bribe and/or shame some more fellas to join us. I know they'll enjoy the experience and it's only a 2 to 3 day a week commitment until the end.

Pronouncing Things Correctly

Fiddler has a Jewish/Russian cast and setting and therefore can be difficult in learning lines because of their pronounciation. Here's a guide to pronouncing the names of the major characters.

If you're interested in being in the Fiddler or working behind the scenes please fill out the following form.

If you'd like to see our very tentative schedule click the link or pictures below.

Not all speaking roles will be specifically auditioned for, several roles will be cast from the ensemble or for individuals who auditioned for, but did not get a larger role.

Thank You

It was wonderful to successfully finish another show. I hope everyone enjoyed the process and (unless you're graduating) will return next year.

I'd also like to thank everyone who came out to help clean up the stage so that May Day auditions and rehearsals can get under way. I know most of you were busy.

There were far fewer personal belongings left behind this year. If you brought larger items like mattresses, pillows or a dresser, they're still on stage and waiting for you. Don't wait too long or they will become a part of the stage.

Cast Party & Tickets

We have a tradition of holding a brief cast party on the stage after Saturday Night's performance. Family and Friends are welcome to partake as we eat and enjoy some cheesy awards. Please either sign up to bring an item or bring a few dollars to help offset the cost of the pizza.

We're trying to keep an updated map of ticket sales so individuals can know what seats are still available. As of Thursday night the following tickets were sold.

Friday, March 9
Saturday, March 10th

Tickets are on Sale

Tickets will be sold during High School Lunches and can also be purchased by the cast.

We aren't equipped to do online sales, but we can sell tickets during rehearsal from 5:30-6:30.

We can seat almost 800 people in the Auditorium and haven't Sold Out a production yet, so you can more than likely purchase tickets at the door the night of the show.

Check this TICKET SALES LINK to see the seats that have been sold as of Sunday, March 4th.

Buildings & Trades: Sets

They don't get enough credit, but Mr. Whistler's Building & Trades classes every year create wonderful and unique set pieces. Not only do these need to be built quickly, but they also need to be sturdy and are not your every day kind of projects. Here's a peek at some of the work that they've done this year.

Can you guess what they are?

What to do when the Leads are away?

When the Leads are away it's a Choreography Day.

We're Updating the Rehearsal Calendar.
MAJ now means Major Roles, Speaking Braves, Lost Boys & Speaking Pirates. We need more people to show up more regularly to have meaningful rehearsals.
If we don't get a more consistent turnout then we will have to have longer rehearsals soon than planned.
