Get Better Lord Evelyn : )

We truly hope our good Lord Evelyn recovers quickly.

Or else our Whitney will have to step into his role, and that terrifies him. Get better soon O.H.

Be Careful Out There

I sincerely hope everyone made it home safely last night.
We cancel and dismiss along with sporting events, but as we get on in rehearsals and Winter Sports end, we sometimes are forgotten. So if you feel the weather is getting bad in a hurry, and wish to leave rehearsal early, please let Mr. H know. Without windows in the Auditorium we sometimes get caught off guard. Be Safe.

Filling In

It often occurs that Actors are absent for a variety of reasons. We have a long standing tradition of filling in from the ensemble. To signify such a substitution we replace the first letter of the character's name with an "f". For instance Hope become Fope and Billy becomes Filly.

Actors who reliably fill in for their peers often work their way up to the status of an understudy.

Friday's a bust.

Well between District Chorus, poor attendance (thanks Keystones) and a Major Roles night, we didn't exactly have enough to accomplish much. Should've know better than to schedule a rehearsal for Friday the 13th.
Thanks to all the wierdos who came out and noodled around.

Improversation

I feel like this is a life skill that most Actors naturally have, or in the least, must learn.

Dance, Improve and... Hats?

You never know what we're going to do, while the leads are away at District Chorus.

We used hats this week to bring out character in each of our actors/actresses. Hats also helped brighten the mood and instilled confidence in our participants.

Kid Theater - Maybe we could do it.

I just found this acting game from the tonight show. All we need is a dedicated group of elementary students to write us scenes to act.

Anything Goes Week 1

We are pleased to announce that the first week of musical practice has begun!

This week the cast will be focusing on getting comfortable on stage, getting to know one another, becoming familiar with the plot. Students are also going to use this week to get into their character.
This year the Drama Club has the privilege of performing on a brand new stage.

This musical is under the direction of Chris Heidenreich & Mamie Harling, as well as stage managers Katrina Weber, Josie Rice, and Lauren Hart.
